Any feedback for me - good, bad or ugly

(But no spoilers, pretty please)

Just finished reading it a day or so ago. I like King's work a lot, and this one was okay, but certainly not one of his best. Imaginative, yes, but there are others I liked much more, such as "Insomnia", "Cujo", and "Dolores Claiborne", just to name a few. So, based on your three choices of good, bad, or ugly, I'd give Lisey's Story a "good"...not much more than that, though.

This is, in my opinion, the best stand-alone book he has written so far. It is a love story about a husband and wife that is lived mostly through flashbacks as the husband died two years before the book begins. The main character Lisey (rhymes with CeeCee) is the widow of a famous author who is trying to move on with her life after he dies. A crazed fan is threatening her and she is also handling a medical emergency with her sister. In order to save her sister, and herself, she must confront memories about her husband and her life with him that she has repressed.

I fell in love with this book in the first chapter and finished it in two days. I could not put it down. It was a great story told by a great story teller and it just doesn't get any better than that.

To me this was his worst book. It was very dull and very boring.
I was so disappointed that I had purchased the book and that never happens to me. I read about 4 or 5 books a week.

I honestly had to struggle through this book. I really really wanted to just put it down and walk away :(
