Perhaps one of the keys is stuck in the down position.
Go to control panel and open Keyboard. In the keyboard properties box select the Hardware tab. It should tell you if your keyboard is working properly or not. If not then click on trouble shoot answer the questions and see if that helps.

Good Luck,

It may have died. If you're getting no respones at all try hooking up a USB keyboard if you can get your hands on one. Never heard of a key combination that completely locks the keyboard.

yep ive got one 10years old and half of them stoped working, either u pressed too hard on it, or if u pressed shift 3 times or held it just do it again and set it off, or if it just stoped working and the waranty hasntexpired send it back to get it fixed, otherwise just buy a usb keyboard for like 10bucks

Did you accidentally turn on the "sticky keys"? This is a feature in "Accessibility" and is for the use of handicapped users.

Check out:
Start
Settings
Control Panel
Accessibility

See if there is a checkmark in front of "use sticky keys."

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
