hah this is a stupid question but i have heard some talk of a hilarious christmas story commercial where instead of asking for a gun he asks for a cell phone or something along those lines?
anyone seen it that could give me more info?

It's a cell phone with special features...he asks Santa for the phone and Santa says you'll drive the bill up...his mother says that earlier in the commercial also...and then Santa kicks him down the slide like he kicked Ralphy down the slide when he wanted the Red Ryder BB Gun after he said "You'll shoot your eye out."

Yes I saw it. The people that made it used some of the clips from the movie A Christmas Story.

That is a great commercial!!!!!! DebiDel explains it well. It is about getting a cell phone and everyone tells him it will "diving up the bill". Then in the end he gets a pre-paid cell phone. I am pretty sure it is the GoPhone from Cingular.

YES!!!!!! omg i just saw it the other day.everyone looks EXACTLY like ralphie and his family in the christmas story.i cant remember what it was for,i think it was a cell phone LOL
