i own a repair shop,,and a body lift actually lifts the body of the frame, and a suspension lift just raises the springs, and the axles on it and really a suspension lift is better because a body lift requires a lot of work, way more than its worth.and on a suspension lift you can still get a good ride from the vehicle,,most of the time,it all depends on what kind of shocks, and springs you choose,,good luck,i hope this help,s.and have a happy thanksgiving.

Well the names are somewhat self-explanitory. A body lift just replaces the spacers between the body and the frame with taller ones. It is a cheaper and easier way to give a truck the lifted look also allowing you to fit bigger tires. A suspension lift actually changes out some of the suspension components which raises the truck and gives more ground clearance.
