Yes, it's just a noun functioning as an adjective, or "an adjectival use of nouns":

As noted in Wikipedia, not all languages take adjectival uses of nouns. If you learned rudimentary Spanish (like I did), you learned the use of "del" or "de la" ("of the") exists much more often in Spanish than in English. We don't say the "palace of the stars," we'd likely say "star palace."

a noun used to describe another noun. Such as "ball cap", or "train station". You could say it is a noun used as an adjective.
