Measuring must be accurate. There are Proper ways.

For the Length.....Measure at least two times and record the length prior to cutting.

If your are trying to duplicate a Cured surface. There are at least two methods.

1. Create a Template of the curved surface. Be certain that you have established a reference surface.
Example: The curved surface is referenced from a straight surface.

2. If you use a string around the Curve, you need to calculate the Radius from the arc length......The length of string.

The use of Computer aided soft ware is now used to produce full size Templates. The automotive industry and the aircraft Industry are always faced with duplicating large curved surfaces in Models and Prototypes.

Hope this assists you....Billy

Is it big enough to get it past your zipper when you pee? If so, it's big enough. If not, wait a couple of years and it will be big enough. Anything more is TMI.
