=with some people it is a cultural thing and with others it seems to be a habit and they kiss everyone. I think a hug is a fine way to say hello to friends because it is not invading their space and some people are offended when you crowd them and it makes people feel uncomfortable. Personally I do not trust kissy-poo type of people that go around hugging and kissing everyone because they tend to be phony. My man is another story altogether.

Unless kissing is a painful experience, then i would understand that people would stop kissing. A greeting or hello as you meet a friend or relative is truely a wonderful gesture, and show a person (human) you care. Is that not what all humans want....

Thats the only time they can touch other people lips, especially their friend. and to show off their fresh breath
