lawsuit?
your cats were loose, and their dogs were loose.
I am sorry for your loss, but I personally don't think there should be a lawsuit.
....but then again I think there are way too many lawsuits
Also I have had a cat attack my dog on my property- I think the laws should be the same for cats and dogs

Feeling upset about this? I can understand.
Lawsuit? No
Yes the dogs should have been on a leash, BUT...your cats should have been safely kept in your home. Don't go on your emotions, a lawsuit sounds just plain silly... Life is tough and not fair, that is just the way it is, a lawsuit will not bring your cats back to life. A lawsuit will just drag on and on and remind you of how your cats died and not the happy memories you had with them... Think about this one seriously.

If your cats were out of your yard, then you are just as responsible for the cats being killed by the loose dogs. If they were on your property, then yes you have grounds for a law suit.
Our dog is like Alamo`s dog. She has been bitten and scratched several times by cats that come in our backyard. and it has a 8 foot wood fence.
