I absilutly belive in mermaids, and want to know how many others do to, and want to know what you think they are

Sorry, I think they are mythical creatures. Nice to think about, but not real.

for as long as man sailed the seas there have been rumors of mermaids.. i don't believe we will ever be able to catch one though because if they truly do exist then they will more than likely be at the deepest level in the sea .. i am not sure if they will look like we think they will though .. it is possible that they are real i mean for hundreds of years there have been sightings in all over the world who to say that those fisher men or sailors are wrong .. all you have to do is look around every now and then someone discovers some type of animal or plant that we did not know exist

It would be great if we can all believe things of legends and dreams.
But, so long as it makes you happy to do it, the real existence of mermaids does not matters anymore.
For me, a mermaid in today's modern society could just be another beautiful young lady with grace, kindness and generosity.

Many Indonesians believe there is a goddess who lives beneath the waves, whom they call the Queen of the South Seas, and I have heard people I trust tell me about fantastic spiritual beings they've seen in that part of the world, some evil, some good, and some that seem part of nature. I believe them. I expect mermaids are the same, seen with your spiritual senses. Belief, if it is honest and curious, draws you toward the truth in my experience. I once decided to believe you could see a person's true self in their eyes, just because I loved it in books, and because of that I was able to learn it really was true.

i do not. I doubt any type of human can stay underwater. That first image is purely ordinary scary.. lol. the second one image is only a toddler born with its legs stuck mutually, it doesn't recommend that is a mermaid.

you know, there have been many "sightings" of mermaids. by many people. when i was little i heard stories of mermaids and mermen (everone forgets about mermen, lol) and i used to believe in them. they are beautiful creatures, and i wish they existed :( but, just like the unicorns and centaurs, they belong in story-books. ghosts on the other hand, are real :)
