Yes, I went to school with a girl that was considered weird, unattractive, introverted the works. She ended up getting her Ph.D. I think in Sociology. I'm sure she's quite successful now career-wise. I don't know what happened regarding her love life, I think she moved out of state. She was also bipolar as well.

Einstein would have to be the most famous example. He was thought to be slow when younger, never would amount to anything, somewhat poor student, dropped out of college, worked as a clerk, then became one of the greatest and most famous thinkers of the 20th century!

Albert Einstein had a difficult childhood--struggled with schooling, etc. Check him out, it might provide some inspiration and confidence for you.

hahaha.. thats funny. Hermm I dunno if this will count.. but when i was young, in middle school i weighed about 300 pounds.. I lost alot of weight and weighed 115 when i left highschool.. all of the people who tortured me thought I was so wonderful then... IDIOTS.. it didnt make me a winner.. But it made me feel vindicated!
