Well I am going to my boyfriend's Aunt's house for Thanksgiving next Thursday and his entire family is going to be there. Now I have met his mother, brother and sister, but this is the entire family. Should I wear a shirt and tie and black pants, or go a little more dressy and wear really nice black pinstripe pants? I could also go with no tie and a blazer, or I could go with a sweater... I need help I am stuck and I cannot get myself out of this. I also cannot decide what color to wear, I look good in blue and green but orange is more of a Thansgiving color. Please Help...

Wear something as formal or informal as your boyfriend since he will know the setting. Don't overanalyze the situation and do whatever you can to not be nervous when you go. The clothes don't make the man.

Ask him what you should wear. You need to try and blend in so if they are dressing formal, which seems odd for Thanksgiving then you dress form. Likewise if they are dressing casual then you should do the same.

You want to blend in with them. My family is usually jeans/khakis and sweaters for Thanksgiving.
Ask him what would be the norm....then match that....and wear something comfortable!

Find out how your boiyfriend will be dressed and dress similar. You don't want to dress too relaxed or formal, so dress like your bf so there will be no embarassment

ask your boyfriend.he would know best of what the family will be dressed like. nothing worse than over/underdressing. hes your man and you should feel comfortable to ask him.
