do you really need it?

Everything else is the same.

If all you care about is gameplay and graphics, go with the $499.99. 20GBs is the same as the HD for the 360.

So do you have a question? Sounds like you already know.
However if you visit the playstation website, you can find the differences in the packages.
Premium system comes with 60GB HDD, WIFI, and memory card reader. The physical case has silver on it as well.
So its up to you to decide whether its worth 40 extra gigs for all those game install files(decrease load time), less cords and easy way to transfer your game content to a friend's house.

Same graphics, just bigger hard drive. wi-fi only for online play but you can always get an adapter.
