I'm looking for a website designing software. Something simple. I don't need something very powerful. It needs to be free too, something from Cnet/Download.com would be nice. I also want to be able to learn it rater quickly.

Think of it as MS paint versus Photoshop.

I only need it to design myself a homepage and some more small projects like that, so less is more.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

If you want something free (and not pirated), use Nvu: http://www.nvu.com

It's an open source tool based on the old Netscape Composer source code.

I highly recommend ConText. http://www.context.cx/ it's FREE, small, compact and does a variety of languages. It has customizable syntax highlighting colors, cursor shapes, right margin, gutter, line spacing and so much more! I use it for all my programming.

I remember the days when you actually had to type in things like

Expand your mind and do it the hard way. . . . you'll learn more, it will look better, and you will get a greater sense of satisfaction!
