Well, the problem is you are vague about the wall. Is it a wall that 4 men could work on, is it something that one can work on? If it is a wall that needs 8 men working at once to get the material in place, then 4 could work seemingly forever and never complete it. It it is a wall that 8 men is too many to work on, then 4 men could finish it in 10 hours, or 2 hours, as is according to the law of diminishing returns. However, I would say based on experience with sandbags, it would take then 25-30 hours to complete a Wall that 8 men could build in 10.

1 man == == 10/8 which is 5/4

Mathematically --- the answer is 20 Hours....As the effort level if half...so time taken to complete task doubles...

Sarcastically - The 4 men would sit idle as the wal has already been built.

From Managerial viewpoint -- we need to consider the percentage of effort level of each man... only if all work at same effort level of 100% only then it takes 4 men to build a wall in 20 day ..... which was built by 8 men in 10 days.

if u add 2 hrs to the total of men then it would take 6 hrs
as u had 8 men plus 2 hrs =10 hrs
so i came up with 4 men plus 2 hrs = 6 hrs
