Actually, most bottles come prepared to be sterilized. Generally when you purchase one, you have the body of the bottle, a nipple, the bottle ring, a nipple cap, and a cover. The cover is that small disk that fits on the top of the bottle that no one ever knows what to do with.
Here's how you put it all together and then you don't have to bother with containers and bags. Wash the bottles and let them air dry. Stand the body of the bottle upright, then put the nipple on the body, upside down, so that it's hanging inside the bottle. Now take the cover (the plastic disk) and place it over the nipple bottom. Screw the bottle ring over the nipple and the cover and it will form a seal to keep all germs out. Put the nipple cap over the whole thing for use later.
Now you don't have to worry about what's on the bottles or what container you'll need to store them in.
Good Luck and Congratulations on the impending birth.

Make sure they are fully dried and I would just put the bottles together with the bottle caps on them and that's fine. People are much to worried over sterilization IMO, I only did it when the bottles were brand new and that's it, not everytime I washed them.

With both of my kids I just boiled the bottles and nipples the first time i used them and always rinsed them out after use so the milk wouldnt spoil before i got them washed and both of my kids are healthy. If your breatfeeding do you know how many of your germs your baby is gonna be exposed to? Just relax and enjoy your new baby

Apparently your a first time mom! Germs are everywhere unle ou live in a vacuum. Get over it and just wash things in hot soapy water and rinse well and forget all the crap you have been reading for the last 6 months and good luck!

It's a baby, not open heart surgery. Just relax. (You aren't going to boil yourself, your fingers, and your hair are you?)
