Well, I would think that would depend on whether you're buying them (not much better) or selling them (way better)
You're paying for fashion (like a $30,000 dress). If you need that to make you feel better about yourself or to keep from worrying what other people will think of you, then, yes, they're better. If, on the other hand, you wish to use that money for other things, and you're comfortable with who you are then no, it's a big waste of money.

the material holds up alot longer and better than cheaper jeans. I have a pair of fossil that i paid $90 for, and have had them for 2 years. They still look new. vs. a pair i paid $15 for, i had to get rid of because they wore out faster. The most i pay for jeans now is maybe $50 but splurge when everthing is on sale!!

bcuz: they hav a more custom fit and
look much better with more detail
but: unfortunately r most of the time overpriced
so: invest in a couple of good name brands
do: buy them on sale or clearance
dont: ever buy ur name brands at places like tj max and ross,
bcuz: @places like those most clothes hav holes, rips, tears,
stains, worn or faded areas or ... etc.

Honestly, I don't think there's much difference between a brand name one and a $40 one at the mall. They're just jeans. They may look fancier and be tighter but that's just it.
