How can I enable my micin and headphone on the front panel of my computer?

i have an asus motherboard with an itegrated sound card and i dont know how to get the micin and headphone working..
audio codec: ALC 850
audio controller: nVidia
pls help me!!!

it works on the back but not on the front panel..

Its usually a cable from your motherboard or sound card to the front panel on the inside of your computer. Dont go opening it unless you feel REALLY comfortable doing so. Take it to a computer shop. This is an EASY task and they should not charge you too much to do.
