I have Some computer hardware that I was given. I am pretty sure it is R.A.M. I want to identify it to see if is compatible with my computer. I would also just like to know if it is R.A.M. or not and if not then what is it?

If its a part number, a simple google search with this number should show results...otherwise bring it to a local computer store and ask them what you have. Dont worry about feeling stupid. This is actually a very intelligent question.
