She picked a good little boy to have sex with and have a child with. Maybe this is a good sign. She might not be ready to have a child and this is God's way of saying so.

It could be that the baby the laying on the sciatic nerve. I know that when I was pregnant, that my son was always laying on the nerve. It would go down the back of the leg and feels like it goes up the butt a little. It would have nothing to do with stress. The body (placenta) was made to block any stress from harming the body. It is proven. Women cry and are emotional threw the whole pregnancy. She would need to talk to her doctor. They could help her.

Your friend needs to go see her pediatrician. The shooting pain she is having down her legs has NOTHING to do with the fact that her boyfriend broke up with her. Something could be seriously wrong with her or the baby so she should be seen as soon as possible. You wouldn't want anything to happen if it was preventable. I am a mother wouldn't tell you this if I did not know for myself.

When I was pregnat with my daughter I had the same thing happen to me all the time. I even went to the hospital. But I was told that when the uterious streches it can cause cramps. It is even worse with the second child. I would give her a heating pad and have her lie down. Give it awhile and if they stop or there is no spotting then shes probably good.

it could be both. but if they broke up it is likely the stress and sadness. she needs to see a doctor about this. if she plans on keeping the baby. she could be on the verge of a miscarriage.

She needs to go to the ER. She needs to be checked and if she(her body) is trying to lose the baby, the doctors may be able to prevent this from happening. Best wishes and prayers are with her and her baby.
