It depends. It's partly dependent on how difficult it was for you to get pregnant in the first place. It also depends on if you breastfeed or not. There's a phenomenon called "lactational amenhorrea" during which if you breatfeed exclusively, you greatly reduce the chance of another pregnancy. You should definitely consult a doctor about methods of birth control.

If you are interested in becoming pregnant again, you should discuss this with your doctor too. It's not necessarily healthy for you to be pregnant soon after birth, nor for your baby, who is likely to receive less care from you. Birth spacing is generally recommended to be 2 years apart.

that's no longer properly that you've been treated that way. What you want to do is detect a medical specialist or birthing centre that assist you to charm to up a birthing plan which consists of soreness relief. Ask your medical specialist about having an epidural - I had one with both my little ones. the first time I had it very previous due (no longer lengthy in the previous she replaced into born) - 2d time I had it promptly! there is not any soreness and also you'll income from the adventure. i'll easily comprehend the way you experience, yet 2d time around the start will be extra accessible - and your restore will be swifter than a C-area. communicate which include your medical specialist and clarify your rigidity and demand on an epidural or different type of soreness relief. it is your properly. ************* Wow, to the fellow who attacked me less than...i believe that anybody woman has the right to make your concepts up on soreness relief in the adventure that they want. that's not needed for all females, yet for some it really is. in certain situations that's no longer for physcial causes, yet psychological. If a lady is panicked about the start journey then soreness relief or perhaps the interest that you may have it in case you want it is going to calm someone down and enable them take area and enjoy. My little ones both had apgars of 9 and 10 and are easily wonderful. The epidural did not impact them in any respect and that i replaced into nevertheless able to push. no longer for anybody, yet i did not imagine a lady ought to attack yet another woman for making a call that worked for them. basically as i ought to under no circumstances attack a lady for insisting on a C-area. As for mocking my "excellent Contributor" status - i'm no longer a excellent contributor in this classification and that i did not ask for it. It would not make me a guru on something.

You can get pregnant as soon as you have intercourse after the baby. You are even more suceptible because your hormones are still way out of wack from giving birth. So if you don't want another one right away, get the pill or something as soon as the baby is born this should allow you to wait until you and your body is ready.

You need to wait about 1 year. If you just had a baby and then get pregnant again, it can do harm to your body. You need to give your body time to heal after having a baby. You may want to talk to a doctor.

Some OBs say right away, some say 2 weeks. All will tell you to wait a min of 3 months, but 1year is better. Your body needs to recuperate so you can have a healthy pregnancy & baby next time

I used to work with a girl that had a baby, and 10 months later had another one. (So be careful) I'm sure you can get pregnant very quickly.
