ANY THING that she has a need for -- and I mean it - because more than likely the Divorce was REAL UGLY -- and she can use things like Grocery Store Gift Certificates, new Linens, Pots/Pans, a Gift Certificate to the Utility Company, a "Gift" of Time (where you volunteer to watch the children and she can have some time to HER self), anything that will make her life a LITTLE Easier after the hard part of dealing with a Nasty Divorce Battle.

Something she can use to pamper herself. She's probably been going through so much stress and heartache that a day at the spa would be so nice. If you don't want to spend that much money go to Bath and Body Works and buy her an assortment of pampering products. Buy her an hour session with a masseuse.

Why is being a divorced woman so different than when you were married? Did you change so much that people need a whole new list? Besides, the things you might want for yourself that would be different from when you were married - wouldn't you rather buy those things for yourself?

Does she have everything she needs for her household alone? If not a giftcard to a housewares store. Or just a date with the two of you (not in a gay way for the immature) and pay to have her hair and nails done together. She may want a day out with her friend and might be lonely.

A gift certificate for a spa for some relaxation, or a nice restaurant. Maybe if she has kids...a babysitter for a night out.
