Its up to you, which one you like playing better. Which one do you think you excel at more? But heres one thing you can think about, everybody wants to play running back because its a glory position, not that many want to play linebacker.......so if you have plans on playing in the future maybe lean towards linebacker a little for that reason, plus think about how many running backs from high school get converted to linebacker in college.........LaVar Arrington playing for the NY Giants was one of the top running backs coming out of high school, went to Penn State and Paterno put him at linebacker and think how good he was in college and his first years in the league

NO kidding, if you're that big and bench press and squat that much as a freshman, try defensive end or middle linebacker, keep hitting the weights and working on your speed and you'll be a Division 1 scholarship player possibly more if you're any good at football!

Make a pro and con list of both positions. Also your strengths and weaknesses then that might help you find what postion you think you are best suited for. if all else fails....flip a coin!

i would play linebacker, you dont get hit, you are hitting. ask your team too. and look at who would replace you. who's weaker. backup linebacker or back up running back?

personally i love being a RB just cuz i wish to someday be known like reggie bush.
but if you like hittin people or have a lot of anger you wanna let loose be a LB

i like LB because I got to smash people. I like to hit people. I like to play D. It takes more mental work because you are reacting to the offense. More like a physical chess match..
