I would prefer to,yes. I find technology is starting to get way ahead of me. Things were simpler when I was growing up...3 channels on the tv and no remote control....what computer?...A cell phone...what's that? Although I like the computer and remote control and stuff it makes me wonder just what will be common by the time I have grandchildren. Today's children are growing up so differently than I did and it's amazing to think back to my childhood in comparison to now. I would be completely comfortable to do without so many things but I have to keep up for the benefit of my teen daughter.

everyone has complications, I think the key is in not creating unnecessary complications or drama. So yes, simple is good.
