Is it possible a lump my baby has on her groin, is a reaction to her baby shots she had two weeks ago? The shot was on her upper thigh, this lump is in her groin. Reminds me of 6 months ago when she got her last vaccine. Only that one was on the site area. Any ideas? The doctor cant fit me in for a week.

When you push on it. It feels hard. It is present all the time not only when she cries.

My daughter has a bump on her groin and it is a hernia. They need to be checked. If it is a hernia on her groin her ovary could get stuck in there and go sterile.
Lay her on the bed flat when she crys or coughs. If it pops up this is most likely what it is.
She will need surgery to correct it if it is. My daughter goes in next month.
Watch for red/sorness to the spot.
Also if you poke your finger into it and you can go in pretty far, you will know for sure.
They told me it something they are born with and some show up as babys, while other show up later when they are bigger.
Watch when she crys/coughs. If it pops up then it may be. My daughters has a lump all the time but pops up/out when she coughs (what pops out is her intestin which holds bowls). So if its hard it could be that.
Call and insist that they see her tomorrow. If they do not take her to minor emergency department at your hospital, and then start looking for a new Pediatric doctors office to have your babys health care at. Do not settle for family health or a "DO" doctor. Search until you get the right care.

It sounds like it might be a hernia..WHAT!! your dr can't get you in for a week!!! I'd be changing doctors. Thats way to long to be waiting for an appt. If I called my dr right now at midnight and left a message for him to call me. He'd call within 10 mins and even meet me at er if he felt it couldnt wait until next day. I've never had to wait past the next day for an appt no matter if it was serious or not.

get a new doctor.Only a bad worthless doctor will put a baby off for a week.It could be a lipnoid that swelled because she might have a infection somewhere in her body.

specific, it occurs in many circumstances adequate and is in all probability merely whats referred to as a breast bud (it particularly is merely an harmless swelling of the breast tissue). yet whilst now not the rest your chum is right to have it checked via her gp because of the fact it is going to reassure her that issues are ok.

it could possibly be an infection. this is not something to be waited on, tell the pediatrician that your child needs to be seen or take her to the ER.
