Use a damp, not wet, sponge. Just rub it where the pets have been (furniture, bedspreads, blankets, etc.) and the hair balls up so it can be thrown it out. I also use a lint brush - the type that looks like red velvet. They work fine but I prefer the sponge. Pet stores carry "Pet Sponges" but they aren't as effective as cellulose (cheap) sponges. Just make sure they are only damp, not wet, and when they start to dry out, simply re-dampen.

A lint brush or loosely wrap some masking tape around your hand (sticky side out) and roll it along couch.

Duct tape of course! Make an indide out loop of it and then just roll away. Cheap easy and as you know, "you can fix anything with duct tape".
