first get rid of the Bosch Platinum plugs. Use The stock plug, Champion is the stock plug. You could use an other brand but stay away from Bosch Platinums. Bosch Supers are ok but not the Platinums

do no longer USE BOSCH PLUGS IN A TOYOTA NGK or NIPPENDENSO! I paintings at a Toyota dealership's provider dept. Bosch plugs do no longer paintings nicely in eastern engines. Even the engineers cant tell me precisely why, yet I see far too many automobiles with drivability problems the place the owner tells me they only positioned new plugs in and then a jiffy later the automobile runs like crap. specific adequate they have Bosch platinum's in the engine. I pull them out, positioned the inventory plug in and project solved.

american cars do not work well with bosch plugs nor do japanes cars
i would recconed if your on a budget buy some autolite but for performance i would reccomend denso or ngk plugs for that car
if its popping or making noise one or more may have loosened up
I have never in 20 years of auto repair had good luck with bosch plugs I think if you have an old vw bug or your lawn mower on a sun aftenoon you have nothing else to put in would i put osch plus in it
goood luck

If it was fine before the tune-down, I would blame those piece of crap Bosches.
