Australia has laws that govern people who give speeches and then following a rally they have encouraged people to go act out the things they said. They are subject to have their property seized and jail time. Do you think other countries should adopt these rules or does this infringe on freespeech.

Although we have free speech in America if our speech incites a riot or if it is reasonable to assume that what you say could incite others to do harm or break the law then there can be legal repercussions. The reason this so seldom happens though is because it has to be proved that the actions of others were the direct and sole result of the words or actions of another and this can be hard to do.

In the USA, although the first ammendement protects free speech, it doesn't protect that same speech if it is classed as "fighting words".
That is, when words or other communication uses
-insulting or abusive language and is
-addressed to a person on a face to face basis, and it is
-causing a likelihood that "the person addressed will make an immediate and violent response"
I wish people would learn what is protected by the constitution and what is not!!!!!! Do some research before you answer questions like this.
