Intelligence requires curiosity, open-mindedness, an ability to detect prejudices, a desire to learn, a lot of hard work (studying), and analysis. Do all these things, and if you succeed, you will not feel you are intelligent; but you will be. The test of intelligence:
A. Can you understand the problem?
B. Can you invent solutions to the problem?
C. Can you fix the problem?
D. Can you preclude recurrence of the problem?
E. How well can you predict the future?
F. Most importantly, are you smart enough to appreciate your lot in life?

Yes I do consider myself to be intelligent... I am observant and pay attention to detail.... That seems to be an essential quality in our own personal growth! And what we do to attain knowledge... But yes humbleness goes a long way...................

Where I come from it is not considered good to brag about one's intelligence. A more humble answer is more respected.

smart as in knowing right from wrong. As in other things, such as jobs,, well I am luckey to be where I am.
