My friend seems not been honest in his business dealings with me. I gave him a substantial sum of money but his response to me is not favourable.

You should not be able to find the SSN but if you are questioning this persons business ethics you can always report them to IRS giving all the information you have. You may not get any personal satisfaction but can cause them grief.

If it's possible, it could sure put many people's credit under threat of identify theft. Social Security numbers are a key method to getting credit. But the way you spelled favourable is the British way, so are you asking about the British or the American?
