Good question. They say they're pro life but then again they're pro death.... seems two faced to me...

I would like to address rdyjoe's answer. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.
As for the question, I am not a Conservative, so I shall not speak for them. I do often hear the argument that the baby is innocent while the murderer is not. I guess they've never heard of anybody being wrongly accused. I am pro-choice through the first trimester. After the third month, abortion should no longer be a topic of discussion (in my opinion).

An innocent child vs a premeditated murderer. I can't see why pro abortionists have a problem choosing the right one to live. I don't get it. Pro abortionists will stand outside of a prison to stop an execution of a lost cause, but protest a life that didn't ever get a chance at anything. Who knows how many geniuses have been aborted before they had a chance to make the world better!

I am a "conservative" and I don't support either. A baby shouldn't be killed and a person should have to rot in prison for the things they do. I think some people support the death sentence because the baby is innocent and a criminal is not.

Though many social conservatives support these seemingly hypocritical issues, many fiscal conservatives, who consider themselves simply conservatives, care not about abortion and yet still support the death penalty. Many of us think abortion is best left up to the woman, and our conservatism extends only into the area of economics.

A newborn baby is an innocent life. Someone sentenced to death is obviously, not so innocent. As you grow, you should have learned right from wrong somewhere along the line. Eye for an Eye......Tooth for a tooth.....

I don't get why, no matter how many times this same question gets posted, and no matter how many times Conservatives say exactly the same thing, "that babies have committed no crimes," liberals still "cannot get it."
You will get it when your children decide mandatory euthenasia will save Social Security. How will YOU tell them it's wrong?

Fetuses have done nothing wrong. Those on death row have committed horrific crimes.
