My 10 week week old is sleeping though the night, WOO HOO!!! But she seems to want to sleep a lot during the day also. It does not seem to interefere with her sleeping at night, I am just wondering if something is wrong. She gets very overstimulated also...with lights and noise. Honestly the only top she likes is me moving her pacifier in from of her up and down/side to side and singing to her. She is a very happy baby, I just want to make sure I am doing everything ok and that is all normal? Thanks!!!

I'm assuming that your child has had her checkup with your doctor and all is well with her health.

That being the case, relax and enjoy the time you have! She'll outgrow those naps right about the time you'll be ready for them. It sounds like she's doing just fine, as long as she's eating and growing.

My first child was a "sleeper". From three days old until today (he's 18) the kid has slept a bit more than the "average" child. Little did I know he was making up for his younger sister who would sleep only six hours a day, total, including naps and insisted that it NOT be the hours her brother was sleeping. She's 16 now and still doesn't sleep - but you learn to cope.

Enjoy what time you have, you'll miss it later!

Good Luck!

Yep, my daughter slept almost all day when she was that little.....and slept through the night....I am assuming you have regular check ups with ped. so all should be well!
