I loved her old movies, When Harry met Sally, Addicted to Love, Sleepless in Seattle, Joe Versus the Volcano, You've Got Mail... Those were good movies, She WAS a great actress.. Ever since she divorced Dennis Quaid, it seems to me that her career has plummeted... Proof of life, and the other movies she was in the last couple of years was horrible! I am dissapointed in Meg ryan, she does not look like herself at all anymore! Who here agrees with me.... I dont think she will make a comeback...

Hollywood loves a comeback, but I don't think it will be happening with Meg Ryan. With most comebacks, they had some sort of major fall, like a drug addiction or something. With Meg Ryan, she fell out of the limelight in part because of her personal life, but also simply because of age. It's hard for a middle-aged woman to retain any stature in Hollywood, and if they do, they're the Annette Benning or Meryl Streep types. And while I like a lot of Meg's movies, she simply does not have the acting chops these women do. I think her future is sadly limited to b-movies and cameos.

I never actually think she acted well in the newer ones, but she looked OK in that film as female boxer manager but still not her best. She also lost a lot of weight for a while and in this film as boxer manager, she seemed to gain some weight back.
Maybe her career will simmer again when she gets to 70s. There are also old actresses still doing well right?

Well, time is her worst enemy. Meg Ryan has taken one too many Botox shots to the face and enough collagen to make her look like a duck. In "Against The Ropes", she could barely open her mouth to make it look like she was talking. I cannot see her in a comeback, but, perhaps in a career blockbuster role.

She is a good actress and a cutie...but her roles have always been tied to just that. a cutie. Her plastic surgery only goes so far

As she ages, she has the issue of all brilliant but older actresses...she isn;t 20 and a fertile sex goddess anymore...not that she wanted to be.

I doubt it, unless she goes the Sharon Stone Annette Benning direction and takes more ag appropriate roles. .

I doubt she'll ever make a comeback. Her young and beautiful days are over and that's it for women celebrities. Once they get older no one cares about them. That's how it goes. She did better in the older movies I've seen with her then the newer ones. I agree... she's not going anywhere!

I liked some of her movies too, but after seeing her on Oprah, I think she's gone a little cookoo.
All that plastic surgery has turned her into a ding bat.
That's hollywood for ya!

I doubt it, and I, like u am a fan. I loved her in "When Harry Met Sally", one of my all time favorite movies ever in life!

I wish she would though, but I don't see it happening.

I don't know, it's not looking good is it? I wish she would because she was America's sweetheart for a long time.
