It isn't unusual for some women to ovulate more than once in a menstrual cycle. You could be at risk of pregnancy, even though you had unprotected sex after your cycle. If your period doesn't arrive when you expect it to, you'll need to take a pregnancy test to be sure.

Breast pain is more likely to be caused by non-cancerous issues than it is to be caused by cancer. Breast pain can be caused by hormonal fluctuations, benign (non-cancerous) breast conditions like fibrocystic breasts and increased breast growth.

While most painful breasts are not cancerous, and at age 21, your risk is very, very, very slim there is always a slight risk of cancer. If you are concerned, the best thing to do is talk to your family doctor or nurse practitioner-they can do a clinical breast exam and feel for any lumps in your breasts that might be indicative of breast cancer. They can also show you how to do a breast self-exam, if you haven't started doing them already.

Breast tenderness is a normal part of your hormonal cycle. If you start keeping track on a calendar of your period and keeping track of your days of breast tenderness, you will actually see a pattern. Everyone is different, but I usually have breast tenderness about 5-7 days before my period starts.......but yours may be slightly different. Start watching it though, and you will see a pattern.

As for having unprotected sex, you are just asking to be pregnant. Having sex is something adults do.....not children. So, if you are an adult, you need to act like one and have a prevention plan. If you don't have a prevention plan, you will get pregnant...................and unexpected pregancies are things that happen to inmature teenagers or people with low IQs. Be smart. If you are going to be an adult and have sex, take responsibility.

Also, remember, when you have unprotected sex with a man, you are having sex with everyone he has ever had sex with. Do you know for a fact that he and all his previous partners did not have a potentially life threatening disease?

By the way, one of the most often diseases transmitted by unprotected sex is a virus called HPV. This virus has absolutely no symptoms and can only be detected by a blood test from your doctor. This virus can live dormant in your cervix for years, and will eventually cause cervical cancer............so, if you are having unprotected sex, you should have an HPV blood test next time you see your GYN doctor. That blood test might save your life.

We've all been young before and let a sexual experience escalate without thinking..............but start thinking please....your life or a life you may create and bring into this world might depend on it.

Sincerely,
Robin_in_Tennessee

I know I am at the end of a lot of answers but I hope you get to it.1) You say you had unprotected sex 1 week after your cycle if what I have heard is right that is the prime time for ovulation it is 14 days from the first day of your period. 2)I got pregnant for my last baby on the last day of my period so not every ovulation is the same. 3) Just to calm your fears make an appointment for a check up, For that last baby I had, My first symptom was a very sore area near my ovaries,Translation it had to be cancer my fear my best friend sent me to a doctor and he told me about my little bundle of joy,LOL so you see even if we all tell you that your most likely OK only the Doctor will confirm it for you.4) one more reason for soreness is the caffeine that others have suggested especially if it is strong. So go ahead and make your appointment take your boyfriend if you wish and you will find out that you are fine GOOD LUCK but you don't even need that

You are probably right about not being pregnant, it takes about 14 days from the beginning of your period to begin the ovulation process again, so chances are low. But that doesn't mean you could of had a period and have been already pregnant! Chances are you bruised them. Or still have some tenderness from your period. I have read that you can continue to have cramps, breast tenderness and bloating even after your period is over. Unless there is breast cancer in your family again chances are low.

i do no longer recognize, yet i do no longer think of that's alarming to have first era at 15 - in any case, as quickly as you have it, you will possibly probably wish you probably did no longer. Your hairs right here and there are the indications which you're maturing. height and breast sizes are unbelievably man or woman. that isn't be the evidence of adulthood. a completely developed breast can so small that it infrequently seems there. My spouse had your length till 30 while she nursed 2 toddlers with none problem. and that i constantly stumbled on them beautiful and pleasing, too. so as which you will possibly desire to no longer problem approximately, no count number what each and every physique says. you're probably very great ;o)

Is the tenderness in both breast? Was it aggressive sex? What I mean is sometimes we can get pretty steamy.Have you been hit in the breast area?OR bumped into anything?Have you noticed any lumps, dimpling, drainage, are the breast equal size?Is there a history of breast cancer in your family?Do you use any kind of hormornes?Do you have any nipple drainage.Do you do your breast exams. You might want to get a home pregnancy test and use it.But remember alot of things besides cancer can happen.

I'm so sure it's not cancer! If your breasts don't usually become tender at this point in your cycle, you may be pregnant. Otherwise, maybe their going through a growing spurt. My weight fluctuates but whenever it's on the way up, my breasts get tender. When I complained of tenderness to my gyno, she said to cut back on caffiene.

There are many reason you could be having breast tenderness. Menstruation, pregnancy, stress, and diet. The best thing to do is get it checked out. Also take a pregnancy test while you`re at it.

medically speaking

the probability of you having breast cancer at that age is low
UNLESS you have a family history of breast cancer

also, most breast cancers tend to be painless, that's why we screen for them

breasts tenderness could be due to your menstraul cycle, as in the late phase of your cycle your hormones could cause tender breasts. ie just before you menstrate

i have tender breast everytime before my periods.
