He won't know I turned him in, but, he might figure it out, because I doubt very maby people saw him do it. I turned him in, because if he died of an overdose, I would feel responsible for not telling anyone, but he, being the drug user he is, wouldn't be very forgiving to someone turning him in. I might get shanked or something. If he confronts me, what should I say.
PS
If it comes down to it, I can defend myself. Just mabey not him with 7 or 8 of his friends.

If you felt you did the right thing. Never feel bad for it. If he ever steps to you, and ask you tell him the truth or let him assume he has to have proof it was in fact you.
But don't hold your head down, you might have made a changing point in his life, sometimes its the small things that get a big reaction.. I wouldn't worry about it ,cross that bridge when the water gets high.. Always be true and real in life.. The truth hurts, some or most hate to hear the truth but it sticks when no one else would take the time to be real....

I would contact your school counselor and talk to them about it. I think your are feeling guilty and second guessing yourself. You state that he won't know that you turned him in, so that is probably true and if he is able to get 7 or 8 friends together, they will all know about his use and they could have turned him in. You also discussed feeling responsible if he overdosed, which is another sign of guilt in you. Please go talk with your counselor and find out what is on your mind.

this can be viewed in two different ways. actually, last year, a friend of mine turned in a guy who had been consuming large amounts of alcohol behind the school.
he eventually got found out, and was afraid that he was going to hurt him in some way later on. but, after he had been punished and saw a counselor, the guy thanked my friend for helping him out.
i guess it all depends on the person is that you turned in. you did the right thing, i believe, but i cant predict the outcome of it from the person himself. so just prepare for two different extremes! i would suggest getting some of your toughest friends to watch out for you :).

Call the Police. Or talk to your Principal about it and ask for security to watch out for you. They'll understand your circumstance.

i think your reason for turning him in was pretty darn noble. if he does figure out it was you just tell him you were worried about him and would feel guilty if he died. it might not make a difference to him right now. but once it sinks in to his drug eaten brain....he will be appreciative.

Tell him he's an idiot and to get away from you and then let the school know he's confronted you. You did the right thing.
