I have bluetooth on my cellphone and on my iMac. I go to my iTunes and pick the song I want as my ringtone, I go to garageband and edit the song to the part that I want to be my ringtone, then I save it, and bluetooth it to my phone, and save it as my ringtone/message alert, or whatever. And it's all wireless....but that sucks if you don't have this convinence.

Check out Phonezoo at www.phonezoo.com They let you make free ringtones from any song and send them to your phone using a text message and then clicking on a link. It worked great 4 me.

Depending on who your carrier is ..
There is a site you go to from your phone
www.3gforfree.com
I use sprint and this is a free service with real voice tones too. I know it also works with several other carriers.
