Death...that is what I am hoping for a successful ending. Married twice, this one for 27 years..Isn't it till death do you part? First was for one. Actually after watching my stepmother 6 years after my fathers passing, death does not even do it. Their successful marriage still goes on, even if she finds someone else to love, their marriage will always live with the people who saw how much they loved and adored each other, even when arguing you could see their love. Too overly romantic for people, well sorry, it DOES exist.

Not sure I understand the question "ending" , i.e successful marriage ends in death. But it the relationship is ending even though if was mostly successful then I would say "successful divorce".

A successful marriage never ends. It was a success even after one of them dies.

Well in your vows you say " TILL DEATH DO US PART " so therefore if the marriage is successful it will end in the death of one or both partners... if it ends before death than the marriage was not successful.

I am not sure what you mean by "ending". But success in marriage comes from oneness - being of one mind. Working together toward common goals, having each others back. Lots of love (putting your spouse & their best interests before your own) and lots of forgiveness.

well an ending of a successful marriage would be the death of one of those involved. otherwise it wouldn't have been successful.

It will end with whatever is ensured by the Constitution. Gay people are citizens and should be treated like everyone else. If straight couples' relationships are recognized by the government and given rights, benefits, and protections, then gay couples should get the same thing.
