care what age u are and say that if ur in middle shool u shouldnt be here or if ur under 13 u cant be here? my mom dosent tell me i cant be on it so y should they care and get mad when they see me?

The "13 year old" part is due to a law called COPPA. A commercial site like Yahoo! can't let someone under the age of 13 register without verifiable permission from a parent or legal guardian because they're not legally allowed to store personally identifying information (things like your name even) otherwise.
Because this is a lot of hassle and paperwork, most sites just don't want to bother with anyone under 13, and some people on those sites don't want to deal with someone who lied about their age to get there.
Edit: And, Baby's Mom is right...there's a lot of stuff on here that isn't for everyone's eyes.

I hate it because we have to be politically correct on here when kids are here, I got a question removed for using an exsample of weed, Didn't say i was going to smoke it, didn't promote it, I just used it in a example, and my question got removed it was very annoying. This will probably get removed also because it has the word weed in it, or some over Bering jack@ss will report it i don't care.

Maybe because you're not old enough. Common curiosity will always find a way towards you, don't let it get a hold of you. Just sit back and enjoy the view while you have kiddo, because in high school everything becomes a litle too real.

It's not the people's rules, or your mom's rules: It's Yahoo's rule. Not mad at you, but it's not really safe for young people, and some of the garbage that's on here, I wouldn't want my kids to read! (I don't read it either ;-D)

I didn't see anything giving an age limit for participating on this site. So I would just ignore them and don't let them get to you.

I visit Singles and Dating a lot and the questions from young teens on there are all the same. It's annoying. Havng said that, you can be on here if you want to... just please don't ask stupid questions, like "does he like me?"
