This board is filled with people writing they hate this group of people or that group of people because of their political views or their sexuality or their view on immigration even!

I don't understand this kind of venom. Is it genuine or not?

I could only truly hate someone who attempted to harm (physically or otherwise) my family or friends.

How about you?

Im not going to generalize because that is too broad. you are talking about politics so I will tell you why I hate (some) Democrats. Some are fine but the ones that honestly believe we should be pc with everyone in the world. This thought is not only going to destroy this country but probably the world. We are supposed to adhere to an ideology that somebody else is using against us. They know that we cant be "mean" or "rude" or "Stereotype" What do you think they are going to do. Try to file lawsuits in OUR country saying we didnt treat them right, we were mean, TORTURE. And the dems believe this crap. this is exactly what happened in vietnam. they cried foul and the liberal masses went nuts. They lap it up just waiting. Sooner or later the Pc will overwhelm this country and they will have a walk in the park of doing whatever they want. which what they want is ALL OF US DEAD. So I hate those dems. they are going to get us killed

Volleyball: "Isn't that why we have terrorism in the first place? Don't the terrorists "hate" us because of our beliefs and ideals?"

this is exactly what Im talking about they have taken it a step farther than just hate. Sometimes tough decisions have to be made. Our people really that nieve?

Hmmm, People here are saying you can't justify hatred. But in hindsight hatred is perfectly justifiable. In hindsight, the native americans and Aztecs should have beheaded every paleskin they could find, in fact hunt them. Sometimes people mean to do you harm and hating those people before they harm you is justifiable. For example, a pedophile uncle should be hated by your children.

If you talk to Primo Levi, it would be forgetting the past

Primo Levi- Holocaust victim, an Italian chemist who never hated the Germans, Hitler, the SS squad, or the people of Germany. He just hated people forgetting the lessons of the past

That may be why he mysteriously died, (my guess is suicide). So many of these victims committed suicide, yet most did not hate the Germans. very odd

I think I agree with Primo

Nothing justifies hate. I hope people who hate will see the error of their ways. Defending freedom is a form of love, and no matter what side of the issues you stand on, in America you are loved. Remember hate the sin not the sinner.

Because democrats and other liberals demand good jobs with good health care, alternative energy with an end to fossil fuel and we don't want to live in a high tech prison where we have no freedom... What really makes a lot of us angry is the right wing extremist's on this site who use multiple identities, pretend to be democrats and ask stupid questions, then give stupid answers, they avoid answering legitimate questions, spread obvious lies and misinformation and they try to make it seem like trying to save the planet from polution along with a lot of other issues we feel strongly about are stupid ideas... I don't hate all republicans, but you only have to imagine hitler with todays technology to see where republicans are taking us...

Hate is a strong word.....And a stronger emotion. When pushed to extremes, People will revert to primitave measures......
America is starting to wake up and realize that OUR way of life, our morals, and our own well-being has been threatened, and has changed.

I have a hard time "hating" someone I do not personally know, or someone that was out to hurt myself, family or friends. So I am in agreement with you; I don't understand how someone can "hate" another based on ideals or beliefs.

Isn't that why we have terrorism in the first place? Don't the terrorists "hate" us because of our beliefs and ideals?

Just a thought. . .

The American soldiers who conspired, raped the 14-year old Iraqui girl, then murdered her and her family should feel the hatred of the world. They are a disgrace not only to America, but to every honorable soldier.

There is no justification. The people you speak of have such pathetic lives, and petty little minds, they can;t think of any other way to express themselves. They are so frustrated, they need to find a target to vent on. I don't hate them though. Not worth it.
