I have soulseek and I tried to look up the genre and all they gave me was a shitty grindcore metal band that was talking about scatology.

Ella Fitzgerald. Her music is old but good. She doesn't scat in all of her songs so look around.

Ella Fitzgerald was probably the greatest exponent. There was a bit of scat in a number of her songs and a lot of it in a few of her songs.

Louis Armstrong was another. From memory, there was some in some of his versions of Mack the Knife and Hello Dolly.

Try going into a specialist jazz record store and asking them to recommend a couple of CDs

Some DMB live stuff comes to mind. Not studio recordings, but the live versions of songs like Jimi Thing and Everyday.
