OK, let's start here.
What is the difference between Fame and Reputation.
I want to know how to use these words in a sentence.
I use the Internet to learn English.
Reputation is what other people think of you, privately.
Fame is what other people think of you publicly.
It's difficult, Good Luck.

FAME is what you have when you become well-known. I think you mean REPUTATION for the other word, not raputation. The word REPUTATION is what others THINK about you. We can have a reputation and not be famous (have fame).

A reputation is what arrives, fame is what is attributed upon leaving, either can be good or bad, and both may or may not be deserved...

fame means everyone knows who you are. they know your name, they know what you look like. celebrities are famous in that sense; I know what they look like, but I don't know that much about them.
reputation is all about your personality. it's not about your looks, it's what kind of a person you are.
when I say a name like Pat Robertson, you might not know what he looks like, but you know what kind of a person he is. that is a reputation.
you can recognize Madonna simply by looking at her face. but you don't know what kind of a person she is inside. that's fame.
