Sometimes she is good, sometimes just average or downright bad. It's just that she seemed to enjoy opening her clothes and legs in movies and somehow overdo it.
I do think there is something strange with her, may be this is why you think she is crappy. Did you watch Alexander though? She played very well there, as if she was born to play it.
Breathtaking? Maybe. But physical attraction, Bo Derek will beat her easy even in her age now. It's good to know though that she still has the heart for the poor regardless of other things she is notorious for.

She is a good actress. I have not seen Girl Interrupted, but she killed it in Original Sin, Beyond Borders, and George Wallace.
She has received three Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and an Academy Award.

It's just you! Obviously you have no taste or talent yourself so knowing when someone has some is probably not something that you should decide. Watch the movie GIA if you think she cannot act. Maybe that will awaken you along with open your eyes to more important issues.

I never notice I'm too busy concentrating on how goddamn sexy she is.... I can't help myself lol, and I have a boyfriend.
But man there's something about her.
I actually haven't seen her in many movies, only a couple. She's not the greatest actress in the world, I've seen worse. Far worse. **cough** Paris Hilton **cough**

Actually I believe she is one of the better actresses out there...maybe her roles are misunderstood, but she's as good looking as she acts...so it might b u....girl interrupted and Gia were great...I'm no freak but I'll tell ya...

I think that she's a great actress, and I'm usually picky about people, too! I really think that she transforms into each character she plays. I enjoy watching her act.

she seems to be one of those actresses that plays one role well.... but she really hasnt had the chance to play anything else.
and even though they arent the most solid couple i loved her and Brad in Mr.&Mrs. Smith
