How can I increase my chances of getting one on that day? Will they start selling at midnight? What time zone?

try walmart you will increase your chances because it covers the entire country. don't tell anyone that is how i make my money.

I'm pretty sure they're going to be sold out all over, but why would you dump 600 bucks into a system with less graphics then the xbox 360? Sure playstation has a lot of games, but xbox has better graphics and is about half the price! You should also check out the Nintendo WII, I saw a comercial, the guy is playing call of duty 3 (not released yet) and it shows the gun on the screen shooting and having kick when you shoot(like any gun) and the guy had 2 things in his hands, and he was holding it like the gun, so I don't know how that worksout but it's something to look into! Ebgames might have you preorder online for your Ps3, I'd look into that

Highly doubt anyone will be selling online on opening day. increase your chances? BE EARLY and know where you're going once you finally get into the store. Stores that are open 24-hours a day will start selling at midnight, time zone? whichever timezone you're in is when stores will start, so really, all the stores are not selling at the same time
oh and btw PREORDERS HAVE BEEN GONE FOR MONTHS

Your best bet is ebay. I saw on the news that it is already up for bidding. Some of the prices are about $5,000 for some.
