You can reapply anywhere instantly. What happens next depends on the companies hiring process and why you were not chosen. The most important thing to do if you can is find out why you didn't get the job. If it's just that they picked somebody they felt was better suited than you, write them a letter and say you would really like to work there and you hope they will consider you for other openings. If they say you lacked certain knowledge, experience or qualifications, you know what you need to do next! Good luck to you.

Were you interviewed? If so, your not going to get it unless they told you they would keep your application on file, I have never heard of anyone getting a call back after hearing that. But it means they did consider you. If you just submitted an application and haven't heard anything from the company, give them a call. I know its scary, but that's how you get interviews. It depends on the company, but I have seen 30 days, 3mos, 6mos, and a year. But if you don't get a call back in the first couple weeks you probably won't get one.

It depends on the company. When you apply you need to ask how long they keep your application on file, so you know when you need to re-apply.

They probably receive hundreds of resumes so try to get in touch with someone who will have more of a say in the hiring process. Otherwise your application/resume might be going into the trash anyway.
