Hey guys, follow up to my previous wailing about PCI-E Vs AGP,

I've an offer for this motherboard that accepts PCI-E and is DDR2 ram, 184pin compliant(which is cheaper and easier to get).

-->my current motherboard accepts only 240pin ddr2 sdram.

Similarly, if i were to upgrade my ram to 512 and buy an ATI Radeon 9550 AGP 8X graphic card with 256mb DDR2, it may roughly cost the same price as buying that new motherboard and the ram.

So should i get that new motherboard and slowly invest on the PCI-E card and ram, or should i just upgrade my System straight?

Same problem with me.I would think get a new mother board and slowly upgrade it as latest software often need higher specifications.

Well, I think I could help you a little better if I had a clearer picture of your situation. Could you send me an email (in my profile) telling me what the model number of your computer is, how much RAM you have, and your current video card (if you have one) and then how much money you have to invest in upgrades. With that info, I think I could give you a really good suggestion. I tried to email you, but your email isn't confirmed.
