That's a good question and what about a change in venue if he's or she's bad. Maybe log on to court sit and look him or her up.

I am sorry to tell you this, but it is unlikely anything would turn up. We have a judge in this area that pulls kids out of stable homes, putting them in the home of the alcoholic/drug addicted parent as long as the parent uses a certain team of lawyers. He was arrested in a nearby county numerous times on DUI charges but the records were buried. He is an appointed judge so removal is near impossible.

But...to directly answer your question, anyone can order a background check on anyone. All the information is public record. (unless it has been ordered buried or sealed)
