Can't say it was inappropriate, but mine after the age of 3 get them in the arm, for some reason they and I feel more comfortable with it

Yes appropriate for any age, given the needs of the shot. Spot was probably chosen for its highly known for muscle which helps the shots work faster since it flows through the muscles faster.

I was given one there 2 months ago and I'm 19. Wasn't a big deal at all. Actually I was glad to have a mark thats covered rather than an ugly one on my arm.

my husband got a shot in his butt a couple of months ago. so this sounds appropriate.

Yes this is normal. Its is a lot less painful. They usually put needles with a larger quantity of drug there because there is more fat!!!

It depends on the shot,like a booster or tetanus they don't go in your butt but some do,like penicillin,it goes in your butt.Usually you get to pick were it goes.

it depends. some medicins/shots have to be given on the butt or sometimes thigh. my dads a doctor so i would know. but u need to find out wut type of medicine was in the shot to determine if he was being innapropriate or not. and also how he has been acting with ur child.
