What could be happening to my voice? Lately no matter how much water I drink my voice is bad.?

I am a singer, so I know the usual things that could go wrong with ones vocal cords. But as a First Soprano, I will be randomly singing and my voice will just cope out.

you didn't mention your age or sex or if you smoked.
but all that aside sounds like you should have your throat looked at. in the meantime try sipping on tea with honey and rest your voice as much as possible. if you smoke....STOP!
