What happened to prediction by the liberals that prices would skyrocket?

"Stocks Gain on Oil's Erop and Rate Cut Hopes" -- Reuters 11/16/06 -- "The New York Mercantile Exchange U.S. crude for December delivery fell $2.50 to end at $56.26 a barrel -- the lowest settlement price since November 18, 2005".

The under reported fact that the US government under Bushie stopped buying oil for the strategic reserves was a prime reason for the reduction in price, it created a lower demand thus driving down the price, when America begins buying for the reserve it will go back up

They've already gone up about 12 cents a gallon since the election where I live and I think they will reach 3 dollars a gallon again for a National average before the end of the year.

Ooooh...I tend to believe the price of fuel would have dropped no matter who was in power in the White House. Timing is everything. Look, this happens with every administration, Democrat or Republican. A little "gift" as it were to the voters to hopefully garner a few extra votes. Always was, always will be.

The cost of gasoline is up 30 cents since the election, I see it going higher if they can find a little reason, when are the conservatives going to accept that they voted for a coke snorting, alcoholic with no morals?

I think you forgot how high it went up while these 2 were in office. I payed $3 a gallon just a few months ago.. who was president?

Yeah, RepUGLYcans had the prices lowered so they could win. But it didn't work.
