Ok,... I haven't been having a period. I have PCOS.
NO foul odors or nothing like that.
And it started like a period this morning, but after I showered it isn't red blood anymore it is brown blood... no clots like usual.

Your period blood is brown because of the blood build up in your system. You say you're "finally" having your period? Over the past year/months your body has been preparing you for your next stage in your life. Also, now that you've started, your periods will not be happening once a month. Don't be scared if they go 6 months or more apart. They won't really become regular until about 3 or so more years from now. Also, your period blood will be brown until your period becomes regular. So, don't be scared! It's totally normal.

Don't listen to anyone else!!
I had this happen to me too. And, the results were astounding.
I had a miscarriage when I didn't even know I was pregnant. There were so signs of pregnancy no signs of miscarriage. The only thing there was was brown blood.
My doctor said it could indicate two things:
1. Fibroid tumors
2. Miscarriage
I was sure that it wasn't the latter. I was ttc and tested for pregnancy buy bulk. Literally, buying tests in bulk from ebay. I'd test the week before my period - the whole week. I never had a positive test.
I had a D&C and they did a biopsy. Sure enough it was fetal tissue. I had got pregnant and miscarried without no signs - minus the blood.
Brown blood IS NOT NOT NOT normal!
The only other time I had this happen was after my body was healing from the D&C and after my son (2nd pregnancy) was born when my body was healing from the labor and delivery.
Please call your OBGYN. They'll do an ultrasound and see what's going on in there.

Brown just means it's old blood, nothing to worry about. Periods usually start out bright red, go to deep red, then brown, then no more.

Brown blood is usually old blood that didn't come out in your last periods.
Is it possible that you're pregnant? Have you had a baby recently? That could explain it.
Any foul odor (sorry to be graphic) or fever could be infection!

When you say your finally having a period, did you miss it or just late? Don't worry about brown blood, it just means it's old, nothing to worry about.

Wipe your self once you pee. That mucus stuff on the rest room paper is cervical mucus. pay interest to it and you'd be conscious that it variations consistancy over the process the month. right here. I looked it up.... Cervical mucus is a jelly like substance produced by tiny glands contained in the cervix observed as cervical crypts. It has a conserving function and might preclude micro organism from entering into the uterine hollow area. The mucus variations, predictable and cyclically in the time of the menstrual cycle. in the time of the 1st 0.5 of the cycle, till now ovulation, while the estrogenic hormones are produced by the cervical glands will become watery, copious, sparkling & stretchy. Sperm can penetrate this watery mucus actual, and while intercourse occurs, sperm swim contained in the time of the mucus in the present day into the uterus. After ovulation, the oftentimes going on of the mucus variations with the aid of fact the corpus leutum of the ovary now starts off to make the hormone progesterone. Mucus produced under the impression of progesterone is thicker, decal & its quantity is decreased. Sperm won't be able to swim via this mucus and it kinds a barrier to sperm get admission to into the uterine hollow area. whether intercourse occurs on the time while the cervical mucus is at its maximum favorable, one approximately in each and every 2000 sperm enters the mucus. something of the sperm proceed to be contained in the vagina, the place they die without postpone, with the aid of acidic pH of the vaginal medium. those sperm that have entered the mucus can survive there for long sessions; truthfully for various days after intercourse. as quickly as contained in the cervical mucus, the sperm gradually swim upwards from it into the uterus over a era of 40 8 to seventy two hours. subsequently the cervical mucus acts as a sperm reservoir, to be backed on if intercourse does not take place at ovulation. that's the reason there is not any might desire to have intercourse accepted with the intention to conceive! The cervical mucus additionally acts as a clear out and facilitates basically the superb sperm to swim via it into the uterus and up in the direction of the egg modern-day contained in the fallopian tube. In some women human beings, the cervical mucus might preclude the sperm from shifting freely into the uterus. this way of barrier might nicely be with the aid of fact of right here motives: there's no longer sufficient too thick & sticky The mucus isn't computable with the husband The mucus isn't nicely suited with the husbands sperm
