the milage is just how far its been driven,it how its been maintained what counts.try this,change the oil and filter and put some no smoke or smoke-b-gone in it,also you could try some cd2 in it.its good too.

slug, look up "toyota problems" on the web
these perfect cars have a lot of problems that or not reported. and not covered if the dealer doesn't do the repairs on them. that's why they want you to take them in to the dealer for every oil change, so they can fix the problems before they are reported to the public

Bad cylinder rings. 22r engine known for that replace them.

It's high in mileage, but I'd check the valve guide seals. That's usually the first to go.

Just a possibilty, you could need an O-ring job, or a new head gasket.
